Introducing Positive Pay
Positive Pay is a great way to reduce your risk of fraudulent activity on your accounts. With Positive Pay, United Bank works with you to identify unauthorized transactions before final payment is made. You can verify that checks and other items you issue are not tampered with and clear your account as you intended.
In its most basic form, Positive Pay sends information to your bank about the checks you write each day. As those checks clear, United Bank verifies the amount and check number. If something does not match, the items are held pending your approval. This double verification method helps protect you and your business against check fraud.
